Rabbi Chaim & Chanie FRIDAY, PESACH SHENI, IYAR 14 - MAY 8 WEEKDAY VIRTUAL CHABAD DAILY MONDAY EREV LAG BAOMER TUESDAY LAG BAOMER WEDNESDAY THURSDAY
Today is Pesach Sheni. It commemorates when those who could not bring the Pesach sacrifice approached Moshe and Aaron "Why should we be deprived" from being able to participate in the Pesach sacrifice. In response to their plea, G-d established the 14th of Iyar as a "second Passover" (pesach sheini), giving them a "second chance" to bring the sacrifice. A powerful lesson as taught by the Previous Lubavitcher Rebbe, "The Second Passover means that it's never a 'lost case.'" There is a custom of eating matzah on this day.
Not even a year old, but already saving lives, Hatzala of Houston will be joining the national fundraiser for Hatzalah chapters of North America. Please support our team to help them meet their goal!
