A Dynamic Thanksgiving

Dear Friends,

I spent last  Uptown weekend in NY at the Kinus Hashluchim - the annual Conference for Chabad Rabbis from all around the world.

Lev Leviev must be the richest man in Israel...

...and I don't mean on his balance sheet.

Standing before 3,500 of the Rebbe's Shluchim (the other 1,000 couldn't make it), many of whom he personally supports in their noble work, all he could say was "thank you." 

"Thank you for letting me be a part of your unbounding love and commitment to the Jewish people."

What a rich way of looking at philanthropic giving...

Sunday morning as I stood at the Rebbe's Ohel, with many of your prayers in hand, all I could say was "thank you."

Thank you Rebbe for letting me learn from and be a part of your unbounding love and commitment to the Jewish People." This weekend, I also say thank you to the USA for helping make this revolution happen.

And I felt pretty rich too...

             > Saturday 10:00am followed by Buffet Lunch sponsored by Alan & Chagit Croock and Family in honor of Rabbi Chaim, Chanie & Clan
              > 5:15pm Mincha & Informal Torah Study; 6:01pm Maariv & Havdalla
• No Thursday class this week. Classes resume next week.
• Sat. Night Chanukah Bowl, Dec. 8, 7:30pm Pay in advance for discount entry! Help us make the menorah entirely out of bowling pins!
• Details on the Chabad of Uptown JLI mission to Israel are almost all firmed up. Please pre-register if you intend on joining us!

• Rabbi Yossi Serebranski will be leading a farbrengen at Chabad Lubavitch Center for Yud-Tes Kislev, On Wednesday, Nov. 28 at 5:30 pm.
• Join Chabad for many events over Chanukah. Of note: ChanukahFest - Major event downtown City Hall with concert, etc. Sun., Dec. 9 2-6pm
