  • Hi Rabbi, Thank you for some very inspiring services over the holidays. I was glad that I could share a few hours of those services with you.
  • Rabbi, I can't begin to tell you how uplifting our High Holy Days were this year, with your guidance. Your sermons were the sermons we never want to end...the sermons we talk about on our way home..the sermons our teen boys talk about amongst their friends. They make us think about how WE think about things and can actually alter/change the way we have thought about something for so long. Hopefully in the future we will be able to come to more services at Chabad Uptown. What an amazing site...to see so many extra chairs brought out on Shabbos/Kol Nidre! The Chazan was so great also.
  • Dear Rabbi Chaim and Chanie, Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the High Holiday Services.  I was especially moved by the N'ila service last night.  I was very moved by the entire service and when the congregation sang the last line of the last Kaddish I got chills up my spine.  It was a very moving moment for me.  Wishing you and the family a very happy and healthy New Year and a fun filled Sukkot.
  • We had a very "moving" experience during these high holidays.  We want you to know that your humor and stories uplifted our spirits and made this fast the easiest yet.  We were very moved spiritually.  Thank you for being our support, and making Shul have the comfort and love like home.
  • We thoroughly enjoyed Rosh Hashonah.  I was especially touched by all of the concern and help everyone gave us.  For the second day friends invited us to join them at Brith Shalom, so we did so.  I know [..] will be pleased to know that we attended Chabad services.  As were we.  Best wishes for the New Year.
  • I wanted to take the time to tell you that I was very moved by your sermons, especially the one about Joshua Bell and the values of our society. I am an amateur classical pianist and so all of the symbolism about the music really spoke to me (I am at times not very articulate, so it is difficult for me to put into words what you expressed so eloquently.) L'shanah Tovah to you and your family.
  • Dear Rabbi Chaim, Your service for Rosh Hashanah was wonderful.  [..] and I were discussing the service and we both had the feeling that you were speaking directly to each of us.  It is very special when you feel the words spoken are meant especially for you.  [..] also mentioned that she attended services on Friday and came away with the same uplifted feeling.  Kudos for you and keep up the great work. A very personal thank you for making me feel so welcomed. My very best wishes to you for a healthy and prosperous new year.

 See you Simchat Torah!

Rabbi Chaim
