Our Inbox….

  • Rabbi Chaim and Chanie, Thank you for such a lovely Shabbos and Kiddush on Saturday. Your table was beautiful and thank you Albert and Rosita Goan for all your hospitality. It was one of those Sabbaths no one wanted to say good afternoon, and if we kept up at that pace it would be time for Havdallah! I. R.

In other news….

  • Once again, I have been editing the Jewish Heritage Calendar for Safeway of which 325,000 copies will be distributed at the affiliate 1,755 stores nationwide, namely Vons, Pavilions, Randalls, Tom Thumb, Genuardi's and Carrs. There are 112 Randalls and Tom Thumb stores in Texas alone! A special write up on our very own Chabad of Uptown will appear on the back cover!
  • Last Sunday we went with the Croocks (Dr. Mark & Alan) for a special day out to the Dog Show with 12,000 dogs! The kids had a great time. You think Noach’s ark had room for all these different kind of dogs? WOW!
  • Snapshot: Don’t get caught with your foot in your mouth, as illustrated by Levi! – A must see pic!
  • My niece, Nechama Lazaroff, celebrated her Bas Mitzvah this past Sunday. A beautiful “heimish” event at my brother’s home near their Chabad House at the Texas Medical Center…..
  • Some athletes will be staying at our home next week for the Maccabi Games. Kids from around the country are coming to town; we get to have two teenage girls. That should be interesting…

See you Shabbos!

Rabbi Chaim & Chanie
