The series of Selichot prayers begin this Saturday night, at 1:20 am recited in preparation for the "Days of Awe" of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Please join us at Chabad at 10900 Fondren for this 40 min. service. On subsequent days, the custom is to recite the Selichot in the early morning hours, before the morning prayers, each morning (besides Shabbos) up to and including Elul 29, the eve of Rosh Hashanah, Sunday Sept. 13.

This year we make a pruzbul. Read more about pruzbul here. One approaches the “court” and states that he or she is transferring to them all debts which may be owed to him or her, thus making them collectable. If doing this orally is not available to you, fill out this form before early afternoon of Sunday, September 13, 2015.
