Next Shabbos is Gimmel Tammuz, the Rebbe's 21st yartzeit. We hope you will join us for specialevening on Tuesday, June 16 at 7:30 pm for an "Evening of Inspiration" with guest Rabbi Sholom Paltiel of Port Washington, NY. The lecture will be help at Chabad Lubavitch Center 10900 Fondren Road. RSVP here.
Thousands will visit the Rebbe's resting place (called “theOhel”) on this auspicous date of Gimmel Tammuz. Rabbi Chaim will be in New York as well, joining many thousands of people from across the globe who will be visiting on this auspicious day, as is customary when we commemorate the Yartzeit of a righteous person.
It would be an honor and pleasure to pray for you (and your family), as well, at the Rebbe's "Ohel." Please e-mail your name and your mother's name (preferably the Hebrew or Yiddish names), and those of anyone else you would like me to mention, I would be glad to have them in mind as well. If there's a specific need you would like me to pray for, please mention it as well. May all our prayers be fulfilled.
Construction on Chabad of Uptown has begun to mobilize. We need some volunteers to help us clear out the storage this Sunday in preparation for the demolition on Monday. Please let us know if you can join us. You can join the our building campaign at www.chabaduptown.org/building
