I never heard of Charlie - did you?

You can change the world!PEACE FRANCE TWO STATE SOLUTION.jpg

I am serious, you can. "Who me? Rabbi, please, I do my small share, but, let's not overdo it!"

Well, it is not overdone. To acquire wisdom, one must observe.

The world is still reeling from the events that transpired in France over last weekend. Just a handful of individuals captivated the world and turned it all upside down.

They succeeded to take "Charlie Hebdo" a virtually unknown paper with a minimal circulation 60,000 to a planned 5 million distributed to long lines for it's first week following the attacks.

They succeeded to bring world leaders together in an unprecedented show of unity to face the common enemy of Islamic extremism.

They succeeded to bring attention to the growing anti-semitism of the Jewish community in France that has been largely ignored.

They even succeeded to get a new comedian, President Jimmy Carter, on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, blaming the Israelis for the attacks in France. Actually he did not mean to be funny, that anti-semite was actually serious!

Just imagine what we can do if even only a few of us, resolved and insisted to not give up and change the world and finally bring the Moshiach.

You never know what deed, act, mitzvah or moment of Torah study and prayer will the be the final cause. As the Rambam writes, one small deed can tip the scale to change the world for good.

Learn how to bring spirituality to this world at this week's classes:

Excellent points! This graphic is so impacting that it is a shame that even on my big screen Facebook feed, it is cut off. The only text that appears starts with "Muslims".
You might want to change the size as the graphic message can change perspectives.
