Rolling in the Pesach Dough!

Friday, 22 March, 2013 - 1:48 pm

baking matzah passover 5773.jpgPesach is upon us! The first Seder is completely full... Many thanks to all of the volunteers who have helped prepare, Naomi Bier, Karen Nudelman, Kaspit Gavish, Ben Hadden, Alyah Rudoff, Ady Fisberg, Sabra Martin!

THE NUMBERS ARE IN! 100 lbs of chicken, 16 briskets, 75 lbs onions, 60 dozen eggs, 38 lbs shmurah matzah, 8 cases wine, 6 cases grape juice and cases and cases of other Pesach goodies add up to a budget of approximately $20,000 for the month of Pesach. We need your help! Please consider contributing towards our Pesach fund at www.chabaduptown.org/donate

Commemorating the Rebbe's 111th birthday, Rabbi Chaim & Mendel made the trip to NY to visit the Ohel. While there, they "rolled in the dough" to personally bake the hand baked Shmurah matzah for the family.

We are looking forward to have Chanie's sister Elkie Wolf of Chicago along with her family join us for the holiday!

Mazel tov to our frequent Chabad of Uptown guests, Rabbi Mendel & Leah Blecher of Chabad of The Woodlands on the birth of a baby girl, Chaya Mushka!

Everything you need for Pesach, including recipes and Haggada to download, visit our mega holiday site atwww.chabaduptown.org/pesach.

There will not be any classes next week in observance of Pesach.

As many are out of town for Pesach with family, we would appreciate if you can let us know if, and which, minyanim you can attend over the Pesach. The complete schedule is below and atwww.chabaduptown.org/pesachschedule
