Mazel tov to Chanie's brother Shimon Galperin upon his recent engagement to Mushkie Greenberg of Solon, OH.! Shimon has visited us at Chabad of Uptown many times, including this past Sukkos and Purim.
We wish a complete and speedy recovery and ask to please say a prayer for Sarah Shayna bas Gitel and Nirben Yocheved.
Rabbi Chaim's brother Shmuly hastily took off for Israel to join his unit in IDF as part of the reserves... We mourn the loss of life in Israel and thank Hashem for keeping so many safe from harms way... Story about him in Haaretz and Israel Hayom: Hebrew, English and Facebook. May the current round bring about lasting calm for everyone in Eretz Yisrael!
