This will enhance the safety and energy efficiency, in addition to the beauty. The next mini project is to add the traditional paroches / curtain to the aron kodesh. This Shabbos and Sunday we begin the special month with Rosh Chodesh Elul (www.chabaduptown.org/elul). We will have a special Torah reading and prayers. Please let us know if you can join the Rosh Chodesh minyan, especially on Sunday morning. See schedule below.
This week was the last week of vacation for the kids. They are eagerly awaiting the start of school on monday (and so are we :)).
The young professionals steering committee has planned many exciting programs and events for the upcoming months. Over 25 enjoyed a meat taco dinner and discussion about tattoos. Next week's topic will be the second in our series of election 2012,"Funding Social Services", on Facebook here. A delicious Penne A La Vodka dinner will be served. Yum!
