Shavuot is here!
Two rabbis walk into a dairy farm…
Just kidding! No, we're not going to start this email with some cheesy joke. (Although we did want to milk that opener for all it's got.) We wanted to let you know what's going on for Shavuot at Chabad of Uptown. As you may know, it's traditional to celebrate this holiday with dairy dishes, and it takes Chanie's daring-do to produce cheese cakes, blintzes, lasagna and more for all those who will be hanging out with us for the holiday, despite Memorial Day weekend! - We'll be staying up all Saturday night studying fun and enjoyable Torah topics.
- We'll hear (men, women and especially children of all ages) the Ten Commandments topped with lots of ice cream and other dairy delights on Sunday morning. After all, Uptownians are truly the cream of the crop. (- Facebook)
- We'll be remembering our loved ones at Yizkor on Monday.
- And that's in addition to the six delightful holiday meals over the course of the weekend that we welcome you to attend - RSVP
