  • Last Shabbat a nice group of Young Professionals got together for a cozy and haimish Shabbos dinner. According to the New York Times columnist, David Brooks, the Chabad House is Haimish. I guess we just need a torn couch. Read the NY Times piece here

  • The children had their first complete week at school and are getting into the routine of homework and more. Nice to see them growing in their studies and all the accomplishments they have made. But, they really want a new playground! See this cute youtube here.
  • This year we commemorate the 10th anniversary of 9/11. In Judaism we are taught to respond to darkness with light. The TDS Auction will include a verse of Torah, a prayer and the charitable giving of the event dedicated in memory of those who lost their lives. We hope and pray that the acts of good deeds done in their memory will create greater peace to their souls and to our world.
