Therefore, blessings from a birthday boy or girl has special significance and strength. This award-winning documentary film tells the story of middle school students from the small southeastern Tennessee city. A simple 8th-grade project evolved into one gaining worldwide attention.
UH Professor of History Barbara Hales will introduce the film. Barbara's publications focus on film history, cultural studies, and intellectual history of the Weimar Republic.
