The year is now in full swing.... we look forward to seeing you and joining our minyan (times below)!

Here is what is on the schedule to look out for in the coming weeks:

  • This Friday, we will have a special guest here for a speaking engagement for Rice University. MIT nuclear physicist and Hebrew University professor Gerald Schroeder will join us for Shabbos dinner and will share some science and Hashem thoughts - AND YOU CAN JOIN US TOO! Please RSVP. - Facebook
  • Wednesday nights  - Classes for young adults and professionals. 8:30-9:30 pm
  • Thursdays - Classes at 12-1:15 pm lunch hour, 8-9 pm evenings
  • Mommy & Me Fall Session - Begins Nov. 10 for six weeks. Tuesdays 9:30-10:30 am, concluding with a special Chanuka Mommy & Me on Tues., Dec. 15.

In other family news

  • Rabbi Chaim heads out to the Annual Conference of Chabad Shluchim on the weekend of Nov. 13-14. (Of course, a dynamic someone will fill in to lead the Uptown Shabbos)!
  • Save the date for Levi's Upshernish - on Tuesday, Dec. 8 in the evening.

In other Chabad news:

  • Chabad at UT will dedicate their newly renovated building off campus on Sunday, Nov. 1
  • Chabad Lubavitch Center, the Texas Regional Headquarters, will dedicate their building expansion and renovation on Sunday, Yud-Tes Kislev, Dec. 6.
  • There will be an array of Chabad activites planned throughout Chanukah! Uptown's "Chanukah in the chocolate factory" will be on Wed. night, Dec. 16...
