Last night Young Jewish Professionals 20’s and 30’s celebrated love on Tu B'Av, for a fun evening of magic and business networking in summer white cocktail attire! Check out the pics by Hagit Bibi Photography here! Also, the IG video reel here! Tu B'av is 15th day of Av. It is described as the most joyous day on the Jewish calendar. Many happy events occurred on that date in our history, but the main reason for the joy is because it follows Tisha B’av, the saddest day on the calendar. On the 15th of every Jewish month the moon is at its fullest, symbolizing the rise after the fall. And since no fall is greater than the destruction of our Holy Temples, which we mourned for on Tisha B'av, the rise that follows is also the greatest possible. The stronger the darkness, the greater the subsequent light will be. So we pray that after the immense darkness of exile, we will experience the greatest light possible, with the coming of Moshiach and the rebuilding of the Temple! May it be in our times. Good Shabbos! Rabbi Chaim & Chanie P.S. We have many new mommies in our community! A mommy and me will be held in a private home starting this week. Contact Chanie for more info.
