what can we do? - Israel & Shavuos

Thursday, 13 May, 2021 - 8:33 pm

Our hearts and minds are with the people of our Homeland Israel. May have asked what they can do? The feeling of helplessness can be overwhelming.

You are not helpless and situation is not hopeless! As much as we need military and front line strength with political diplomacy, it behooves us all to remember that Hashem protects the Jewish people and spiritual protection supports the rest of our efforts to be successful.

Do your part! Put on tefillin, light Shabbos candles, say a chapter tehillim and Hashem will surely deliver us salvation as He has countless of other times.

May Hashem protect our people physically and spiritually, and may we all return to Israel, as a completely reunited nation with the coming of Moshiach, now!

Here are seven things you can do for Israel. Click on this link for a short "what it is", "what you can do" and relevant links for each action step:

  1. Take a "call to arms" - Tefillin
  2. Share the power of light- Shabbat & Shavuot Holiday Candles
  3. Affix or Check your (spiritual) security system - Mezuzah
  4. Pray - Tehillim
  5. Give Charity - Tzedaka
  6. Nurture your faith - Learn and Talk
  7. Join the Unity Torah Scroll - Buy a letter for yourself and each member of your family

Now spread the message!

Over 1500 signups for the CoronaCrush event! Over 15% followed up on a second date! Now that's a success! Look out for more programming coming up!

Shavuos is this week and we have a great lineup of programming and events to get in the mode. Most importantly, make sure to clear your schedule to hear the Ten Commandments and enjoy a dairy lunch on Monday, May 17!
