Chanie is at the annual Kinus. Virtually. The kinus is held annually timed to coincide with the anniversary of the passing of Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka Schneerson, of righteous memory that was yesterday, 22 Shevat. After helping Jewish communities around the globe face a year of relentless challenges and now looking forward to opportunities in the year ahead as the world emerges from the coronavirus pandemic, thousands of Chabad-Lubavitch women are joined together once again this year for their annual conference. But for the first time in its storied history, the International Conference of Chabad-Lubavitch Women Emissaries (Kinus Hashluchos) is being held online due to health concerns. The weekend will be culminating in a “Grand Event” to be broadcast live on ChabadUptown.org that will stand in for the annual Grand Banquet, streaming at 12:30 pm Houston time.
We are sold out for tonight's Moroccan themed First Fridays Shabbat dinner for Young Professionals. In order to keep everyone safe we have to limit how many people we can accommodate for outdoor programming.
