Dear Friends,
Wow, there is a lot to catch up on!
- Rosh Hashana was wonderful, uplifting and inspiring. Over 120 people attended the services and dinners in the beautiful Pavilion on Post Oak, with great company, food (thanks Benny Katz) and environment! Thank you to Mushkie Galperin (of Brooklyn) and Ettie Lipsh (of Israel) for running a smooth Children's program and service where the children were entertained, inspired and got a wonderful and enjoyable taste of the Rosh Hashana services.

In other news...
- The wedding in New York the week before Rosh Hashana of Chanie's sister Rivkey was amazing! The ones who definitely enjoyed it most was Chaya Mushkah, Mendel & Rivkie who outdanced everyone hands down. We spent the week with family, in Monsey and a Sheva Brochos in Albany, New York. Not much sleep, but great nonetheless.
- My sister Sara from Australia is coming tonight to Houston with her entire family to spend Yom Kippur and first half of Sukkos.with us. That's going to be exciting as we have not seen them in a while, and our kids get to spend some time with her kids and get to know their cousins!
- Steam Express donated services with cleaning of our children's room carpet. Thanks Chen Bublil!
- Sofer: Chabad Lubavitch Center on Fondren has once again brought Rabbi Faitel Lewin, a sofer from Brooklyn, N.Y. He is available to check mezuzos and tefillin until tomorrow midday Thursday, Sept. 28. According to halacha, mezuzos and tefillin should be checked twice every seven years. Some have the custom to inspect them annually - especially during the Days of Awe
