two torahs rosh chodesh shabbos!

hard to type with a humbling one hand while other rests in a sling, easing weight on the shoulder (broke clavicle & partial shoulder separation) and laying on a broken rib, thanks to a bike incident while exercising on the wondrous off road mountain bike trails at memorial park.

so briefly:

mazel tov to our nephew Tani Lazaroff on his bar mitzvah in los angeles. rabbi made a quick 20 hr trip to attend. (yes, in a sling).
while there, they stopped for a short visit with fellow chabad shliach rabbi yitzi hurwitz, who has ALS, singing and uplifting his spirits. - VIDEO
this shabbos and sunday is rosh chodesh, two torahs, hallel and special musaf followed by kiddush farbrengen. sunday morning rosh chodesh minyan at 8:30 followed by 1st elul shofar blowingand melnik sponsored breakfast!

106 degrees ☼ summer is almost over?

Camp Gan Israel ended this past week and Mendel comes home from Camp in Michigan this Monday... Summer is almost over! Weather didn't get the message though...
