Arturo Nicolayevsky began his Music Studies in Mexico City at the National Conservatory of Music. He followed them in New York graduating from the Juilliard School.  He continued his studies with German Diez and with Roberto Eyzaguirre (Both Mr. Diez and Mr. Eyzaguirre were students Arrau) and with Claudio Arrau and Alicia de Larrocha. 

Mr. Nicolayevsky’s performing repertoire includes the major works of Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Schumann, Brahms, Schubert, Liszt, Debussy, Ravel, Albeniz, as well as thirty piano concertos by various composers.  He has performed in public Liszt’s “12 Transcendental Etudes”, Rachmaninov’s “Concerto # 3”, Beethoven’s “32 Sonatas”, Beethoven’s “Concerto # 5”, List’s “Concerto #2” and Brahms’ “Concerto # 2”. He has played concerts in USA,, Mexico, Europe and Israel, and major music halls, like Bellas Artes and Sala Nezahualcoyotl in Mexico City. 

In addition to his musical interests, Arturo Nicolayevsky holds a BA’86 from The Juilliard School, and an MBA from University of Houston ’95.  He has worked in Commercial Real Estate.  Currently, he holds License 3 and 65 and is the Managing Director of Premium 72 Funds (www.premium72.com), an investment company. Mr. Nicolayevsky also enjoys staying fit and healthy and doing bodybuilding.
