Dear Friends,
- Pesach ended with a grande finale and uplifting and inspiring Moshiach Seudah complete with four cups and matzah!
- The Seders were absolutely amazing. 60 eve one and over 40 eve 2. Unfortunately we had to turn away at least 30 due to lack of space the first night (another reason to get the Shul built!). But, the people, the spirit, and of course Chanie's spread was over the top!
Here are some responses to our survey (Even if you were not at out Seder, please participate as it helps us cater our programming better to the needs of the community):
- "Best Schmurah matzah ever! Delicious wine!"
- "By far the best seder. Very user-friendly, we were made to feel very comfortable by Chanie and Rabbi Chaim. All of us enjoyed the humor and the liveliness of the seder. My parents could not stop laughing at Rabbi Chaim's jokes. I also thought it was very child-friendly. Way to go, Rabbi Chaim and Chanie. Another smashing success."
- "Everything was perfect... where it made everybody feel comfortable. The hangover from the wine the next day...well, THAT I"ll need to keep tabs on that next year."
- "Best Seder I have ever been to, in 50+ years."
- "The food was fantastic."
- "Thank you two for always making us feel home, bringing us back to our roots and traditions, and for being our family!!! We Love you, and we love Chabad Uptown."
- "Who Let the Jews Out? Sang to Who Let the Dogs out by Rabbi will be stuck in my memory forever as one of the best Pesach moments of my life!"
- "Next year ...... at Rabbi Chaim and Chanie's Sedar in the LARGE shul!" (editor's note: in Yerushalayim :))
- The Matzah is out and fresh Challah is in (Chanie's kitchen right now)! Come help inaugurate our new beautiful Aron Kodesh this Shabbos. Many thanks to Brith Shalom and Dorit and Ian Golan for recruiting the crew to shlep it over and in!
