Chabad of Uptown hosts 6 week workshop to learn about the Land of Israel

Houston, Texas – Jewish high school students are invited to participate in the Israel 3D Experience. The course will explore critical questions and ideas such as: Why does Judaism need a homeland? What right do Jews have to the land of Israel?  How can teens identify and combat media bias, Will there ever be peace in the Middle East? Israel 3D will be taking place at Chabad of Uptown every Monday over dinner for six weeks beginning on Monday, October 18, 2010.

A BBQ and joust party will be held on Sunday, October 10 at 4-6:30 pm where teens will have a chance to meet other Jewish teens and learn more about the new Israel 3D Course and enter a chance to win a new iPad!

Jewish teens will have the opportunity to exercise their minds as they debate with peers about relevant issues. Israel 3D will be facilitated by instructor Rabbi Chaim Lazaroff in a dynamic setting that promises to be exciting and informative.
