Moses goes up Did not Moses also first go up to see Burning Bush and then God calls to him? Reply
correction @ 32:16 Rashi explains the Torah "simply" not 'literally'. There's a significant difference. Reply
Rib etc? The rib translation is wrong. period. "Adam" means a person, not a "man." The Hebrew is right, and the vast overwhelming amount of translation are riddled with inaccuracies & mistranslations... an unfortunate but factual reality that reflects the notion that the Torah can only be properly understood by studying it in its original Hebrew text. genesis
I have a copy of TANAKH A New Translation of The Holy Scriptures According to the Traditional Hebrew Text, (The Jewish Publication Society. Philadelphia. New York. Jerusalem) 5746. 1985. In Genesis 1. 27 it says "An G_d created man in His image, in the image of G-d He created him;male and female. No mention of man as two halves.
In Genesis 2.18 it says, "It is not good for man to be alone; I will make a fitting helper for him. 2.21 "so G_d cast a deep sleep upon Adam; and while he slept, He took one of his ribs... "2.22 "And the Lord G_d fashioned the rib that He had taken from the man into a woman; and He brought her to the man."
My question is, have they got it wrong in this book then? Is it different in a later edition?

Women have fallopian tubes. It is like built in titzit. We can create. Like Hashem created.
