PARSHA: Don’t Judge the Makers of the Golden Calf
Imagine seeing two grown men who both lost their father on the same day. The first lost his composure and became violent in his grief, wreaking havoc and injury. The other remained calm despite his loss. It would appear at first blush that the latter has a right to judge the former, but he doesn’t. more...

We wish a refuah shleima to Mendel Wolf ben Chana and Ruvin ben Fanya

radinsky gabbat croock event.jpgRabbi Joseph Radinsky passed away last Friday. From my earliest childhood memories is growing up with Rabbi Radinsky with his booming voice and booming personality. He always showed respect and grace for all. Whenever he would see me without skipping a beat he would shout out "Chaim Kulchem Hayom!" Houston has lost a towering man literally and figuratively for the Jewish community. Rabbi Joseph Radinsky was an honored guest at our "Goodbye to Gabbai" benefit event for Dr. Alan & Chagit Croock at Chabad of Uptown. May his memory be for a blessing.

♥ = ☺

⇒ One small step today, is a giant leap tomorrow.

⇔ The self-assessment: Am I stepping up or down?

♥ Constant self-complimenting is to loathe oneself. Critical self-assessment is to love oneself.

This year, the idea of us all being spiritual sisters, as one family, really shone through. It was, of course, wonderful to get together with my actual sisters as well!
