Chili... Chabad House of Blues... New Shabbat Daven Times

RECAP: The finals days of the holiday season was celebrated in style! The dancing was filled with joy as we danced the night and day away with hundreds of uptownians!

CHILI: Lead by the ever able Captain Terry Lewis the offical testing of the chili was completed last night with cheers and fun. Here is a special message from our leader:

Chabad of Uptown is overwhelmed with simchas and brochos to present the Cha-Badest Chili Cookoff team this side of the Red River...(with modesty, of course) We think in the world but heh???? Please join us this Sunday at the JCC on Braeswood as we take down the Trophy and represent all that is Holy in that fine Texan delicacy Kosher Chili!!!!! WINTER SHABBAT: New Service Times - We have now entered the winter cycle! Services on Friday night from now until summer will be held consistantly at 6:30 pm! Please make note of it!

A warm thank you to our entire community for making our Yom Kippur so special and inspiring. Major thumbs up to all the volunteers who helped us pack out of the hotel following the delicous break fast!

The days of awe are behind us, now on to the days of joy!

To accomodate local business people, the sukkah will also be open for public use throughout the intermediate days (Oct. 17-19), come enjoy your lunch (break) in our sukkah!
